(follow the link for more information
http://www.york.ac.uk/services/careers/skills.cfm). I
am an associate member of my professional body - the royal society of
chemistry which recognises a comitment to the sciences.
An extract from the Royal Society of Chemistry states that (AMRSC - Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry)-
'The
designatory letters of AMRSC signify to all that the holder is a
professional chemical scientist, well qualified and subject to a
rigorous code of conduct.
Holders of
these letters are committed to the advancement of the chemical sciences
and maintain high standards of competence and ethical behaviour.
To
prospective employers, the RSC designatory letters confirm that the
individual is not just qualified in the subject but committed to
building a long-term successful career and this will be advantageous to
the employer.'
